Irish Beef Finds a Welcoming Market in the Netherlands
The Irish beef sector is highly export oriented. Data from Central Statistics Office in 2023 shows that for every import tonne of bovine meat brought into Ireland, sees 8.4 tonnes of Irish bovine meat exported.
In 2023, Irish exports to Netherlands totalled to € 1.2 billion, signifying the importance of Ireland as a trading partner to the country and the role it plays in meeting high demand in the Dutch market.
Bord Bia, Ireland’s Food Board reports that 73% of Irish food and drink exporters anticipate positive expansion this upcoming year highlighting an encouraging outlook for Irish meat exports to the Netherlands, Belgium, and wider European markets.

Refrigerated Semi-Trailer Meat Hanger – These trailers are purpose-designed for transporting hanging meat. Fitted with meat hook rails enable secure loading, unloading, and transport of whole carcasses and other meat products.
