HANNON Transport Becomes Main Club Sponsor of Lurgan Rugby Club

HANNON Transport is proud to announce its new role as the main sponsor of Lurgan Rugby Club, one of the oldest rugby clubs in Ireland.

Founded in 1880, Lurgan Rugby Club has a rich legacy as one of Ireland’s oldest rugby clubs.  With the motto “Be Just and Fear Not” the club embodies resilience, passion, and dedication to community—a perfect fit with HANNON Transport’s own values.

The club’s grounds, known as Pollock Park, span an impressive 15 acres and include a clubhouse, three rugby pitches, a training pitch, and a cricket ground with both real and artificial wickets.  Named after Mr. Trevor Pollock, the club’s first Patron, Pollock Park is a hub for local sport and a gathering place for the Lurgan community.
