The project represents a significant £22 million investment and is set to create 450 new jobs, providing a substantial boost to the local economy.

The establishment of the new storage and distribution facility will see the relocation of HANNON Steel from Templepatrick and the creation of a dedicated storage and distribution facility for HANNON PharmaLink (HPL).

HANNON PharmaLink Ltd (HPL) will operate a large refrigerated building (11,719sqm) for temperature-controlled storage of medications and medical supplies. The facility will include quality control, inventory management, and order processing, ensuring full traceability and regulatory compliance. It will primarily store pharmaceutical products from Northern Ireland, supplemented by international products for the all-island market.

Our development at Nutt’s Corner is part of our ambitious growth strategy and comes as a result of strong international demand.

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Neil Kelly commented,
