Office Administrator

Role: Full-Time, Permanent

Job Specification:

HANNON TRANSPORT is one of Ireland’s leading international refrigerated and general hauliers dealing with the daily transportation of chilled, frozen and dry freight.

We are looking for a highly motivated and driven person who can multi-task and work on their own initiative within a friendly and busy team environment.

Responsibilities and Duties Include

  • Responsible for general business invoicing and administration
  • Completing checks on accuracy of invoices on a regular basis
  • Processing Proof of Delivery documents (PODs)
  • Checking and scanning paperwork
  • Dealing with and resolving POD queries in a timely manner
  • Support to compliance manager – including management and distribution of driving fines
  • General administrative duties

Skills Required:

  • Administration experience within a busy working environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy of work
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills to handle multiple tasks, remain focused under pressure and work to tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and within a busy team

Essential Criteria:

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy of work.
  • Minimum of 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English Grades A*-C
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Packages including Excel, Outlook and Word.
