Accounts Payable Administrator

We are looking for a committed individual to join our Finance Team in the Role of Accounts Payable Administrator.

About The Role

The Accounts Payable Administrator will be based at our Aghalee office and work office hours, from 9:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.

The Accounts Payable Administrator is to process high volumes of supplier invoices, match these invoices to purchase orders, complete supplier statement reconciliations and assist with month end close process.

The Accounts payable administrator will also generate supplier payments for approval within the finance system, liaise with suppliers and internal departments and specifically respond to both supplier and internal Accounts payable related queries.

What experience do I need?

  • 2+ years’ experience in an Accounts Payable role
  • Have experience of processing supplier invoices in a high volume AP team
  • Have Experience of multi-company, multi-currency suppliers and payments.
  • Have experience of matching supplier invoices to purchase orders
  • Have experience of the completion of supplier statement reconciliations
  • Have capacity to work independently and as part of a team
  • Have strong numerical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have experience of working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Have knowledge of UK and Irish VAT would be beneficial
  • Have a working knowledge of Sage accounting packages would be desirable.
