Junior Transport Planner

Location: 21 Brankinstown Rd, Aghalee, Craigavon BT67 0DF

Role: Full-Time, Permanent 

Working as part of a team in our busy transport planning office. 

Work pattern: Monday to Friday 08:30 – 18:30 (1 in 3 Saturdays)

Job Specification:

HANNON TRANSPORT is one of Ireland’s leading international refrigerated and general hauliers dealing with the daily transportation of chilled, frozen and dry freight.

We are recruiting for additional staff to join our Transport Planning Team at our Headquarters in Aghalee.

Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities and duties include:

• Order capture from customers
• Data entry in to Transport Management System
• Tracking of drivers and job progress
• Customer communication
• Liaising with colleagues in planning & customs teams

Skills Required: 

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy of work
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work on own initiative and within a busy team
